Meet Danique (she/her), the visual creative behind QiQi visuals (pronounced as Kiekie).
She’s a passionate filmmaker and photographer based in Amsterdam. With a multi-disciplinary approach, she blends film and photography into a collective expression, catering to both commercial and personal projects.

During her education at Maastricht Institute for Fine Arts, Danique discovered a profound fascination for film and photography. She was surprised by how easily she could express emotions through imagery. Especially subjects with sensitive matters, often considered heavy or dark, she felt were important to tell. As a compassionate individual and innate storyteller, she recognized the power of these mediums and it didn’t take long before she found her own identity and style of storytelling: poetic, gentle and yet powerful. 

Danique's artistic range is expansive, making her open to a variety of projects. She welcomes commercial endeavors, where she can bring her vision and multi-disciplinary approach to deliver captivating visuals and narratives. Simultaneously, she cherishes more personal, smaller shoots that allow her to delve deeper into individual stories and emotions.

All of her creative practice reflects her deep belief in the power of vulnerability and it to connect people, cultures, and perspectives. She strives to represent the rich diversity of human experiences and emotions, hoping her work will contribute to a softer yet stronger world that is inclusive, connected and accepting of one another.
